Chainring Machining

B&L’s Chainring Machining Service

Make your fixie, commuter, cyclocross or single speed toothless!

We now have the capability to take the teeth off any chainring making it into a chain guard so you can protect your leg or pants on your bicycles.

You can recycle your large chainring in to a functional and nifty piece of art.  Many chainrings have unique designs or a look that is associated with the era they where made.  By reworking them into chainguards you can add a neat feature to your bike that is useful and will make it unique to the machine.

Send or deliver your chainring to

It is best to make sure the ring you want machined is bigger with the teeth off, than the ring you are using on the drivetrain, this is the reason that the large outer chainring is optimal for this .

Chainrings that are made into chainguards take the place the large chinring .
