this the direct equivalent to the Trek Allant 8 , the motor , battery and smarthub controller are the same , the drive train and brakes are the same , the big differences are the style and rider position , if you like a more upright position get the townie path go!, if you like a bit more of a fitness position get the Trek Allant 8 , there are a few small differences in accessories choices between the bikes like fenders, racks chain guard and lights , the performance is the same.
